Gavin loved his first ride on the roller coaster (the same roller coaster that terrified poor DJ). Gavin stood the entire time he was riding around on it . . . too much excitement to just sit there.
DJ's first roller coaster ride about 2 1/2 years ago. Just got a kick out of their very different reactions to their first ride. (Thanks again Grandma for DJ's 1st birthday present.)

tasting new things,
trying so hard to crawl,
and getting so frustrated that we can't get very far.
We've been hard at work building "elegator" (elevator) cars,
and so proud of our results.
We've been bouncing & twisting,
and trying to climb like a monkey.
We've been enjoying baths with the neighbor's dog (Jackson) 
and we've been enjoying stops from the ice cream truck with neighborhood friends.
I love this yellow plant behind us which is actually a weed that grows like crazy out here in the spring. I am so excited to see it growing in our backyard as it is one of the first signs that Spring has arrived. After taking this picture last Saturday we were off to Jone's Beach on Long Island to celebrate my 32nd birthday.

You know it's baby #2 when husband says to wife, "hey, I'm going to buzz Gavie's hair" to which SECOND-TIME mom simply says "yeah, good idea" (then continues to do the dishes) and lets hubby wander off with baby and start buzzing . . . no questions asked. 
We had a great day at the Magic Kingdom!
