Friday at the Children's Museum

We desperately needed out of the house on Friday so we headed to the Stepping Stones Children Museum in Connecticut. It was adorable and kept DJ's mind spinning and body moving for five hours straight. He didn't even want to stop to eat his hot dog (which he loves) at lunchtime. We left at 5pm and he fell asleep the minute he sat in his carseat. We will be back for sure!

The waterplay area was the hit of the day! We spent 2 hours in here

DJ determined to figure out how this pump works

DJ brushed and flossed the teeth of this giant mouth

Driving this ambulance was a big hit!

Tristan

We were in Spokane, WA. in June to spend time with Tristan. Thank you Tristan for all the fun times. Thank you to everyone who keeps him in prayer.
Loving every minute with my precious nephew!

Guys breakfast with T (T's dad, Tristan, Uncle Kyle, Papa, Uncle D & Uncle Marc)

T was enjoying beating us at monopoly a little too much

(who he wants to be with all the time)

Cousin Lauren loving on T

At the end of our meal, my thoughtful dad (who had been to the restaurant earlier that day)
had the waiters bring out balloons filled with dollar bills for each
grandkid. But the sweetest thing of all was that all the cousins gave
up their balloons so T could keep all of them! There is T's favorite cousin Adia
tying them to his wrist.

Back in New York (May)

Happy with my new "playground" --Thank you daddy for
putting this together for me . . . I know how much you love this stuff.

Talking to Grandma.

This little birdie lived in this tree in our backyard for awhile. His parents
were nearby alot while we assume the little birdie was learning to fly.
Thought it was cute.

DJ loves helping in the kitchen! Here he is
helping me make cupcakes.

Always happy to test the food for mommy.

Satisfied with the cake batter!

Back to California We Go!

In March, we were back to California for a couple of months due to the joys of morning sickness. DJ had lots of fun, especially outdoors with Papa, while I laid on my parents couch most of the time. Thank you mom and dad for your MUCH NEEDED help. You're the best!!!!! Thank you Daryn for flying back and forth so we could stay in California. You're a sweety. DJ loved playing in the dog cage and used the dog bowl as a drum (and a chair).
DJ playing in the dogs water --good thing I wasn't around for most of these activities!

Papa's little helper

At Amy's house, I got to bed early while Kyle put DJ to sleep for me.
(What a wonderful uncle! As if he doesn't have enough kids
to deal with already.)

Uncle Kyle did a great job!

Erin, Brooke & DJ hunting for Easter Eggs at Grandma & Papa's house

On Easter Sunday we had brunch at the Hayes Mansion
with the Miller bunch.

Papa, Nana & the boys

My first trip to the beach! I loved it!

I actually enjoyed being buried by my dad even
though this picture doesn't show it.

DJ, Aunt TaTa and Apache

Silly Papa --I sure do miss you!

Snow! (February)

DJ likes the snow about as much as his mommy does. We ventured out for what I hoped would be some cute pictures. He liked it alot more once he discovered he liked eating it.
